The Table layout.

Most of the table was to be created with cloths and added scatter material, this would prove to be quick and cheap to produce, there where to be a few drop on items too, mainly the Tobruck defence post and the Halfaya Pass.

The pass was made from some rather large blue foam blocks, sculpted and the textured before painting, all done in Colin's wargame HQ. I provide the foam and the cutter, Colin provided the knowledge.

Sadly that polystyrene cutter died last year after years of service.

Defending Tobruk over the weekend, the Saturday was rather quiet, apart from the sorties from the Luftwaffe!
Then on the Sunday, it got a bit more hectic for the 9th Australian Division, as the German and Italian Forces threw everything at the defence line.
Having re-read their orders (and victory conditions) Tobruk had to be captured! :D

It should have been taken first. The Axis feared their Imperial opponents, and I know that defences can be intimidating.
